We make sure that we provide the safest environment for our Maine Coon cats when we breed them. And when you buy them from us, please transport your cat to your home in a secure, escape-proof carrier, which we will provide during your pet’s transport.
Our cats have been inoculated against cat flu, enteritis and preferably feline leukaemia within the last 12 months. 

No refund will be given for cats that do not have the correct vaccinations.
Please do share your cats medical history with us once you take your cat to the vet within 72 hours. 
No cats infected after 72 hours from or suspected to be suffering from an infectious or contagious disease will be accepted for refunds.
Every effort is made to keep Claremont flea and worm free. Please ensure that your cat is up to date with a veterinary prescribed flea treatment on of before the due date which you will find on the Vet cirtificate we provide. If your cat is found to have fleas or worms, we will not issue any refunds.


Data Protection

The following data is kept on file for each client; name, address, contact number, email address, veterinary clinic and pet details.

We do not store payment details.

We do not share your data with any third party nor do we use it for marketing purposes. We will only contact you regarding your booking.

The data is held securely in our online booking system. Information regarding yourself and your cat is displayed on the chalet door during your stay. This is vital incase we need to contact you in case of emergency. Once your cats stay has finished this document is shredded.We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advanced notice. Except as described below.

The term ‘outside parties’ does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law. Enforce our site polices, or protect ours or others ‘rights, property, or safety. However non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing advertising or other uses.

Payment

We require a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of £25 per cat at the time of booking. We will then confirm your booking by e-mail showing the balance due. This balance must be paid by cheque or cash on arrival or internet banking cleared in time for your arrival.

FOOD AND WATER

The Buyer will ensure that there is FRESH water provided 24 hours a day and, including, appropriate, recommended cat food accessible at appropriate times in a day unless otherwise advised by the breeder or a qualified veterinarian.

VETERINARY AND RELATED EXPENSES

The Owner assumes responsibility of all expenses incurred in relation to the kitten/cat after said kitten/cat leaves the possession of Fantasia Cattery as well as any additional expense incurred at the request of the Owner before the kitten/cat leaves possession of Fantasia Cattery.

The Owner is advised to put the kitten/cat on an appropriate form of pet insurance in order to cover routine illness and accidental costs (recommendations are outlined in the Kitten Handbook).

Fantasia Cattery assumes no liability for any veterinary costs or other expenses incurred by the Owner.
The Owner acknowledges that the breeder’s liability can never exceed what is expressly guaranteed in these terms.

Under no circumstance will Fantasia Cattery be held responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred by the Owner at any time for any reason for the kitten/cat.

GROOMING

The Buyer agrees to provide appropriate grooming for the kitten for the extent of its life and residence with the Owner. This is further detailed in the Kitten Handbook. Our kittens leave our home groomed and bathed.

CERTIFICATES
All necessary registration documentation shall be handed over, and/or upon receipt of the signed Adoption Agreement and Proof of Payment.
An original neuter/spay certificate from a Licensed Veterinarian, the vaccination book-of-life, and Registration papers from The Cat Federation.
The pedigree of the kitten/cat and microchip certificate will be sent via email to the Buyer.

DEPOSIT
Before making any payment to proceed with a booking request, availability must first be confirmed by us and you must have received booking confirmation, most usually via email.
A ‘Holding fee’ of 50% of the adoption fee is placed to hold a particular kitten/cat for a potential Owner.
If a kitten is booked as early as 6 – 8 weeks. A three-installment option may be arranged at the Breeder’s discretion.
If two kittens are booked at the same time, a 10% discount will apply to the Adoption fee of the second kitten.
If a Cat is held specifically for a potential Owner, a change of mind can quite often jeopardise the chance for that particular kitten/cat to be placed in a home while still at a desirable age therefore all holding fees are non-refundable or only partially-refundable at our discretion.


The kitten/cat has reached at least 6 – 8 weeks of age and is weaned;
Once the owner has fully familiarised themselves with the Kitten Handbook and understands the contents therein.
‘Payment in Full’ in the amount of the purchase price shall be paid at the absolute latest, 1 week prior to the kitten leaving the home of the Seller. 

SHIPPING

All Shipping costs are to be ‘Prepaid’ by the Owner, when purchasing a kitten/cat that must be shipped unless otherwise arranged with Fantasia Cattery.

If for some reason the cat is to be returned, we require a statement as to the health of the cat by the Owner’s Veterinarian prior to returning the cat . The cat should be free of, including but not limited to parasites, bacteria, fungal infection, fleas, ear mites, and communicable and life threatening contagious diseases.
Upon its return, the cat will be replaced with another cat of equal value. If no replacement is available at that time, Fantasia Cattery will have one year to furnish a satisfactory replacement.

In paying the holding fee, the Owner acknowledges that he/she has read, fully understands, and agrees to ALL of the terms and conditions stated above as well as those outlined in the Fantasia Cattery Handbook.
